ANSWER #2: How long does it take to post the miles to my account? (Back to FAQ Menu)
Typically 6-8 weeks. Your lender, Realtor® or mover orders and pays for your miles via a secure EasyMilesTM website. EasyMilesTM transmits all purchased miles to United Mileage Plus® once a month for posting to your account. The 6-8 weeks allows for the timing from the date the order is placed through the posting to your United Mileage Plus® account.

Your miles will appear on your statement after the miles have been placed into your account, typically 6-8 weeks after your qualifying activity.

The day United Mileage Plus® posts your miles, they will reflect in your account online.

If you need to redeem your miles earned prior to a 6-8 week posting period, posting can occur in one business day for an expedite fee of $50. Please discuss this option with your EasyMiles lender, Realtor or mover before you complete your transaction.

If you were directed to the lender through an EasyMiles marketing promotion or ad and notified the lender of your desire to earn miles then you are entitled to the miles. However, the lender is not obligated to provide miles if you have already negotiated a reduction in commission or fees. If you believe you are entitled to miles, please discuss with your EasyMiles provider. If you are unable to satisfactorily resolve the situation please send us an e-mail at EasyMiles. Provide your name, current address, previous address, United Mileage Plus® number and the name of your lender. We will research the transaction on your behalf and respond.

Yes. If you are not a member, simply Join United Mileage Plus® and sign up as a member prior to the completion of your transaction. It takes approximately one minute to complete the entire application. It's That Easy!

Yes, but the lender will need to join EasyMiles to obtain approved EasyMiles lender status prior to the completion of your transaction.
ANSWER #9: I have my house for sale but I just found out I can get miles with a different Realtor®. What do I do? (Back to FAQ Menu)
You are contractually obligated with your current Realtor®. You may discuss your desire to obtain EasyMiles with your Realtor®. If they agree, they must first join EasyMiles to be able to offer miles. Should your agreement with your Realtor® expire and your home is still not sold, you may re-list your home with an approved EasyMiles Realtor®. To obtain the name of a local EasyMiles approved Realtor® in your area, go to our EasyMiles website and input your zip code in the "Find Providers" tab.

It is not possible for EasyMiles to be credited to more than one account. However, you can give miles to another United Mileage Plus® member. To learn more about how to give miles please read the full details on United's website.

We are contractually obligated to United Mileage Plus® to provide nationwide coverage. By having one EasyMiles lender that can lend in all 50 states in addition to a choice of several local lenders, we are expanding your choices while fulfilling our obligation to United Mileage Plus®.

Yes! 10% of the loan amount will be earned in miles when using an EasyMiles approved lender. A $350,000 refinance earns you 35,000 miles.

Yes! When you use an EasyMiles approved Realtor® you will earn 20% of the purchase price in miles. Purchasing a $500,000 home will earn you 100,000 miles.

Yes! When using an EasyMiles approved Realtor® you earn 20% of the sales amount in miles. Selling a $750,000 home will earn you 150,000 miles.

Yes, the same rules apply to a vacation home as a primary residence provided you are using an EasyMiles approved Realtor® and/or Lender.

Yes, provided the property is a 1-4 family residential dwelling, the same rules apply for an investment property as a primary residence provided you are using an EasyMiles approved Realtor® and/or Lender.

Yes, provided the loan is a first lien mortgage, fixed second or home equity line of credit on a program offered by an approved EasyMiles lender.

The economics on a home equity loan are different for a lender than a first mortgage purchase or refinance. Miles earned are equivalent to a $35,000 loan.

Absolutely, provided both Realtors® are EasyMiles approved Realtors® and you notify them up front that you desire to utilize their services to buy/sell a home and earn miles.

There is no limit! You can use an Easy Miles approved Realtor® to buy and sell a home, an EasyMiles lender to finance a home and an EasyMiles Mover to move your home. Multiply your miles today!

The statement may have been printed prior to the miles being placed into your account. You may log onto your Mileage Plus® account to see if the miles have been credited since your statement date.

Approved EasyMiles providers have contractually agreed to offer miles to consumers who obtained their contact information from our website or toll free number. They are obligated to purchase miles on your behalf when your transaction closes. Therefore it is important that you made them aware of your desire to earn EasyMiles upon your initial contact with them. EasyMiles will not be earned if you previously negotiated a reduction in commission or fees. If miles have not been offered, please make your best attempt to work out an equitable resolution with your provider. If you are unable to resolve this situation, please send us an e-mail at EasyMiles We will immediately investigate and respond.
ANSWER #26: It's been more than eight weeks since my loan, real estate transaction and/or move closed and I still have not received my miles. What is the delay? (Back to FAQ Menu)
It is possible the United Mileage Plus® number your lender, Realtor® or mover keyed into the system was incorrect. This would result in a rejection of the transaction for further research and resolution. If it has been over eight weeks and your miles have not yet posted, contact your EasyMiles provider to verify the accuracy of your number and the date they requested your miles. If your United Mileage Plus® number is correct and they requested the miles more than eight weeks ago, please sign into your United Mileage Plus®
account to confirm whether the miles have been posted. You may also contact United Mileage Plus® to confirm if the miles are in the process of being posted. If they have no record of the transaction, please send us an

Simply select an EasyMiles RealtorR, lender and mover for your purchase, sale, financing and move. See example below how the miles can add up!
- EasyMiles Realtor®: $750,000 purchase price = 150,000 miles
- EasyMiles Realtor®: $500,000 sales price = 100,000 miles
- EasyMiles Lender: $400,000 1st mortgage loan = 40,000 miles.
- EasyMiles Lender: $50,000 Home Equity Loan = 3,500 miles.
- EasyMiles Mover: $25,000 move cost = 25,000 miles
If you buy, sell, finance and move with EasyMiles providers as shown above, you could earn 318,500 miles!
